What do we do?

 

The Children's Area of ​​the Neuropsychology Service of the Faculty of Psychology, develops free counseling and orientation activities for parents, teachers and educational institutions, about the early detection of behavior or learning problems in boys and girls as well as possible high intellectual abilities .

Objective

The main objective of the Service is "early detection", neither diagnosis of problems nor treatment of any kind is made. The scope of the Service does not cover the issue of disability.

Protocol to follow with all the consultants:
-The query is received from the father, mother or guardian of the child via email.

-A survey card is completed.
-Then, Questionnaires for parents / guardians or teachers are applied in order to learn more about the situation for which they are consulting.

 

IF IT IS ESTIMATED NECESSARY, and according to the reason for the consultation, the instrument applied is made and vaidated from children from 4 to 8 years old.
