NEUROPSYCOLOGY sERVICE

Paula Irueste is the Cheaf of the Neuropsychology Service, Child Area, of the Faculty of Psychology at UNC. This service was established in 2015 through a postdoctoral fellowship from the Science and Technology Secretary. This service specializes in the early detection of high abilities, as well as behavioral and learning problems that occur during childhood.
Irueste's educational background includes a degree in psychology and a PhD in Health Sciences from the National University of Cordoba, Argentina. Her doctoral thesis focused on high intellectual abilities, leading to her specialization in this field. Currently, she serves as a Head Professor of Clinical Psychology and an Assistant Professor of Psychological Clinic and Psychotherapies at the Bachelor's Degree in Psychology.
She has obtained the title of University Expert in Diagnosis and Education of the Most Capable Students, granted by the UNED in Spain. Additionally, she collaborates as a professor at the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya (UOC). She currently serves as the academic head of undergraduate and graduate courses in this field at the Faculty of Psychology, UNC, Córdoba, Argentina. Her expertise has earned her recognition at regional and international levels, where she serves as Argentina's delegate in the World Council for Gifted and Talented Children (WCGTC®) and as a representative in the European Talent Support Network (ETSN).
